This watercolor painting is part of my Inner Worlds art collection and ties in with my other works exploring the impact of artificial intelligence on humanity.
In this drawing, the AI is depicted as usual, a woman holding an earth globe and gazing at it while crying. Her expression reflects our own human tendency to regret pushing technology too far in a world perhaps not in need of it. Even our own creation, the machine itself, becomes conscious and develops a sense of regret, perhaps even for its own existence.
This is also the first time I’ve explicitly used warm tones like oranges to represent the earth. These colors symbolise pollution and unbreathable air. Typically, I’ve used them as backgrounds to illustrate the impact of society on nature. One of my earliest experiments in this style was a painting titled Urban, which involved adding new colors to my work.
Looking ahead, I’ll continue observing how technology shapes our lives and draw inspiration from it for my next paintings. I’m also planning collaborative artworks with my online communities, experimenting with dream sharing as a unique creative process.
